Administrative Assistant I This is the entry level position of the administrative hierarchy. Employees at this level provide administrative support to work groups in the organization. Completes work with close supervision under clearly defined procedures and serves in a non-exempt capacity. Administrative Assistant II This is the intermediate level of the administrative hierarchy. Employees at this level provide administrative support to work groups in the organization. At this level, the individual has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience. This level works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision and serves in a non-exempt capacity. Responsibilities Uses business software applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc. Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail. Maintains files and calendars. Responsible for arranging business travel, coordinating meeting arrangements, and tracking expenses. Responsible for assistance with invoice processing Basic/Required Qualifications Admin I HS Diploma / GED Basic/Required Qualifications Admin II HS Diploma / GED Minimum of 1 year related work experience Additional Preferred Qualifications Strong computer skills Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite applications, including Excel and PowerPoint Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments Demonstrated ability to communicate (both written and oral) in a clear, concise and effective manner Ability to effectively interface with multiple levels across a department, e.g. managers, supervisors, employees Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with changing conditions Demonstrated knowledge or awareness of financial principles including invoicing Working Conditions Onsite Mobility Classification – Work will be performed at a company facility.
