Responsibilities • Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and drivers to deliver goods efficiently along designated routes. • Load and unload merchandise ensuring proper handling and safety. • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries, answering questions, and addressing customer needs professionally. • Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests and delivery logs, to ensure smooth tracking of shipments. • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety standards are met. • Follow all traffic laws and company policies related to driving, safety, and load securement. Experience • Previous delivery driver experience with a proven track record of route driving and load management. • Hands-on warehouse experience involving heavy lifting, moving goods, or operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks. • Valis License or driver certification preferred; manual transmission experience is a plus. • Familiarity with route planning, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols for heavy equipment use. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. • Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items safely throughout the workday. • Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
