We are currently seeking a Hybrid Customer Service Specialist to join our fun, fast-paced environment. Role Summary Due to the anticipated growth, 6 Degrees Health is looking for the right candidate to join our team as a Hybrid Customer Service Specialist in a remote working environment. This role’s main purpose is to deliver compassionate service to our customers by actively listening to their concerns, providing answers, and creating cases for the Operation Team. This position includes gathering necessary documents to resolve member’s balance bills and access issues along with answering inbound calls and setting the rest of the 6 Degrees Health team up for success. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and provide world-class customer service. This is a remote position based in the United States. Essential Role Responsibilities • Foster a culture aligned with 6DH values • Primarily responsible for overseeing 6DH intake phone systems • Manage intake group email, voicemail, Cognito forms, and fax submissions for timely case responses • Prioritize urgent situations with strong organizational and time management skills • Communicate effectively with members, setting expectations and obtaining information to resolve balance bills and access issues • Confidently liaise with providers, members, brokers and TPAs • Accurately create and manage cases in the CRM, adhering to patient confidentiality and company policies • Monitor CRM reports to ensure timely task completion • Utilize de-escalation techniques in times of member frustration through continued support, education, and empathy. • Communicate with 6DH team on cases via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. • Actively participate in team and department meetings via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned Minimum Role Requirements • Listening skills to understand what the customers’ needs are so that their concerns are addressed appropriately. • Communication skills to work with customers on a variety of claims situations. • Compassionate attitude to give emotional support to members during stressful situations. • Proven organizational and prioritization skills with an ability to operate in ambiguous situations. • Demonstrates ability to quickly learn to adapt new ideas and processes. • Ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency standards consistently. • Ability to effectively adapt in a dynamic environment. • Must have the ability to read and understand various procedural documentation. • Ability to interpret patient records and calculations while maintaining strong attention to detail. • Strong internal and external communication skills, both verbal and written. • Must be able to manage inbound calls with confidence and compassion. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and that individual compensation will vary based on factors such as overall qualifications, skillsets, competencies, and work location.
