About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manhattan Active Transportation Management (TM) Configuration Specialist to join our Supply Chain/Logistics IT team. This role will be primarily responsible for the configuration, support, and optimization of the Manhattan Active TM platform to support transportation operations and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Configure and maintain the Manhattan Active TM system to support transportation planning, execution, and optimization processes. • Translate business requirements into system configurations and workflows within the Manhattan Active TM environment. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, transportation planners, and IT teams to gather and validate functional requirements. • Lead or support the testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of TM system changes, enhancements, and integrations. • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or automation. • Provide day-to-day support and issue resolution related to TM configurations, including carrier management, rate setup, and routing guide configurations. • Ensure proper documentation of configuration changes, process flows, and user manuals. • Collaborate with Manhattan Associates support and/or implementation partners for escalated issues and new feature rollouts. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Transportation Management (TM), configuration and setup required. • Solid understanding of transportation planning and execution processes in complex logistics environments. • Experience configuring rate engines, carrier contracts, routing guides, and shipment planning rules. • Familiarity with integration of TM with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS, EDI). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across business and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Manhattan Active suite (beyond TM, e.g., WMS, Order Management). • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and modern integration approaches. • Prior involvement in full-cycle TM implementations or upgrades. • Knowledge of supply chain optimization concepts.
