Role Overview: As a Regional Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and driving safety strategies and processes across our regional operations. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to protect our employees and assets. What You'll Do: - You will develop and implement regional safety programs and policies aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements. - You will conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify risks and ensure compliance. - You will lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. - You will collaborate with operations teams to promote safety awareness and training initiatives. - You will monitor safety performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management. - You will stay current with industry safety regulations and best practices to recommend improvements. - You will manage safety communication and engagement across multiple sites within the region. - You will support emergency response planning and execution. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within logistics, transportation, or related industries. - Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards. - Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety programs. - Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and engage teams. - Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments. - Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician). - Experience managing safety across multiple regional sites. - Background in emergency response planning and training. - Familiarity with transportation safety regulations and DOT compliance.
