Role Overview: As a Plant Manager, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of plant operations. Your primary goal is to ensure efficient production processes, maintain high safety standards, and deliver superior customer satisfaction through effective team leadership and operational management. What You'll Do: - You will manage daily plant operations to meet production goals and quality standards. - You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and plant staff. - You will implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and resource allocation. - You will monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - You will manage budgets, control costs, and ensure operational efficiency. - You will address and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. - You will ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant or operations management. - Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 50+ employees. - Proficiency in production planning, process optimization, and safety management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. - Experience with budget management and cost control. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations. - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification. - Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software. - Background in continuous improvement methodologies.
