Role Overview: As an Assistant Warehouse Manager, also known as Assistant Reusable Asset Depot (RAD) Manager, you will support the management of warehouse operations and administrative functions. Your role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and leading a team to meet operational goals. What You'll Do: - You will assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and safety. - You will manage inventory control processes, including tracking and reporting. - You will coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize asset flow. - You will supervise and support warehouse staff, fostering a productive work environment. - You will implement and enforce company policies and safety regulations. - You will assist in preparing operational reports and performance metrics. - You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes. - You will handle administrative tasks related to warehouse management and compliance. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management. - Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software. - Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with reusable asset management or RAD operations. - Certification in warehouse management or logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCP). - Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in warehousing. - Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
