Full Description

The IT Digital Health Support Agent assists patient portal users with login recovery, account registration, and navigation support. This position involves direct interaction with patients by phone, email, and EMR messaging to provide best-in-class service. Agents support accounts tied to hospitals, emergency rooms, medical offices, imaging centers, outpatient labs, and other healthcare facilities. Pay rate: $18/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM-7 PM, plus Saturdays, 9 AM-1 PM Type: 6-month contract-to-hire (based on performance and budget) Location: Hybrid - 2 days onsite in downtown Orland Key responsibilities • Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally. • Communicate clearly with patients, both verbally and in writing. • Deliver exceptional customer service with a patient-first approach. • Provide step-by-step guidance on portal website and mobile app navigation. • Escalate issues and keep management informed of important updates. • Maintain and contribute to knowledge base articles. • Meet performance metrics and service-level agreements. • Verify users, send activation links, and assist with registration. • Support login recovery and manage proxy access for dependents. • Respond to patient emails and EMR messages in a timely manner. • Submit tickets to system administrators for advanced troubleshooting. • Maintain regular, punctual attendance and comply with company policies. Qualifications • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in technology preferred. • 6 months-1 year of help desk or technical support experience (password resets, activations, workflow support). • Epic MyChart experience is a plus. • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users 4CR3
