Job Title: Network and Computer Systems Administrators Location: Providence, RI Employer: 4Consulting, Inc Position Type: Full Time Worksite: Remote Position Summary 4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Network and Computer Systems Administrators to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for: • Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation solutions. • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network environments to ensure performance, availability, and security. • Perform network maintenance, upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability remediation while supporting operational continuity. • Develop technical documentation, support infrastructure improvements, and collaborate with technical teams to implement network best practices. Minimum Qualifications The position requires: Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience 6+ years of experience in network engineering, network security, enterprise infrastructure, and network operations. Technical Skills Network Security, Firewall Administration, VPN, Network Routing, Network Switching, VMware, Cisco Networking Business / Domain Skills Infrastructure Management, Network Operations, Security Compliance, Incident Management, Technical Documentation, Process Improvement Communication Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders. Documentation Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables. Work Authorization Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with enterprise network architecture, virtualization, and cloud networking technologies. • Knowledge of routing protocols, network segmentation, and infrastructure security best practices. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
