About the Role:The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience within the retail environment. This position is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs, providing knowledgeable product information, and facilitating sales transactions efficiently. The Sales Associate contributes to achieving store sales targets by promoting products and services effectively while maintaining a welcoming and organized store atmosphere. Additionally, this role involves supporting inventory management and merchandising efforts to ensure product availability and visual appeal. Ultimately, the Sales Associate helps build lasting customer relationships that drive repeat business and enhance the store's reputation in the Tecate community.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred but not mandatory.Basic proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling.Strong communication skills in Spanish; basic English proficiency is a plus.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a retail environment within the Tecate region.Familiarity with inventory management software.Additional language skills beyond Spanish and English.Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.Customer service training or certification.Responsibilities:Greet and assist customers promptly and courteously, identifying their needs and recommending suitable products.Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash or electronic payments securely.Maintain product displays and ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times.Provide detailed product knowledge and answer customer inquiries to support informed purchasing decisions.Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and monthly sales goals and contribute to a positive store environment.Assist with inventory control activities including receiving shipments, restocking, and conducting stock counts.Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.Skills:The Sales Associate utilizes strong interpersonal and communication skills daily to engage customers and understand their needs effectively.
