Job Description, UI Architect Requirements for FIOS Suite Modernization 1. Technical Expertise Deep experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) Strong understanding of microfrontend patterns (Module Federation, Web Components, etc.) Experience with legacy UI migration and integration strategies Familiarity with shared UI libraries Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns • Should have expertise in material ui 2. Solution Architecture Define the overall microfrontend architecture (routing, shell/container, communication) Design a strategy for incremental migration of legacy screens to microfrontends Establish standards for UI consistency, theming, and branding across microfrontends Plan for shared authentication, authorization, and session management 3. Integration & Interoperability Enable seamless integration of new microfrontends with existing legacy modules during transition Define contracts for inter-microfrontend communication (events, shared state, APIs) Ensure backward compatibility and minimal disruption to business users 4. DevOps & CI/CD Architect build and deployment pipelines for independent microfrontend teams Enable independent development, testing, and deployment of microfrontends Plan for versioning, rollback, and hot-reload capabilities 5. Performance & Scalability Optimize for fast load times (code splitting, lazy loading, CDN usage) Ensure scalability for large user bases and high concurrency Plan for monitoring, logging, and error tracking in distributed UI 6. Security & Compliance Enforce secure coding practices (XSS, CSRF, CORS, etc.) Ensure secure communication between microfrontends and backend services Comply with accessibility and regulatory standards 7. User Experience Drive a unified, intuitive, and responsive user experience across all modules Plan for mobile/responsive design and cross-browser compatibility Enable user personalization and role-based UI rendering 8.
