Job Summary The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for meeting daily customer demand and supporting production schedules. This role ensures safety and quality standards are consistently maintained. You will assemble and test products using specialized equipment, fixtures, work instructions, and test instruments to support medical device manufacturing. Key Responsibilities • Assemble and test products following established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards. • Work with the Manufacturing Lead and/or Specialist to meet customer demand and production schedules. • Participate in basic problem-solving to maintain stable work cell operations. • Report any issues related to quality, processes, equipment, materials, or labor to the Manufacturing Lead or Production Supervisor. • Follow, maintain, and complete standard work processes. • Participate in continuous improvement and DBS-related activities within the work area. • Maintain 5S standards by keeping a clean and organized work environment. • Support production activities as an active member of the team. • Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the company’s Quality System. • Complete required documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Minimum Education & Experience • High school diploma or relevant work experience. • Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating procedures, and work instructions. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with others. Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of GMP. • Experience in medical device manufacturing. • Microscope experience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Physical Requirements • Ability to work in environments that may involve adhesives, solvents, and chemical processes. • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, and twisting. • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs. • Ability to visually inspect small parts for extended periods. • Close and color vision required. • Must be able to comply with controlled environment requirements, including apparel and personal hygiene standards.
