Senior Functional Consultant – Dynamics 365 CE & Power Pages Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Power Pages (Portals) to join our consulting team. This role will work closely with clients, solution architects, and delivery teams to design and implement enterprise CRM solutions that enable digital engagement with customers, partners, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of business processes, Dynamics 365 configuration, and portal-based experiences, and has experience translating complex business requirements into scalable CRM and portal solutions. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Requirements • Lead discovery sessions and workshops with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define solution approaches. • Translate business needs into functional designs, user stories, and solution documentation. • Provide guidance on best practices for Dynamics 365 CE and Power Pages implementations. • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on CRM strategy, digital engagement, and portal experiences. Solution Design • Design functional solutions using Dynamics 365 CE modules such as Sales, Customer Service, or custom applications. • Define portal capabilities including: o External user registration and authentication o Role-based access and security o Data exposure through Dataverse o Customer self-service capabilities • Collaborate with technical architects and developers to ensure designs are scalable and aligned with platform capabilities. Configuration & Delivery • Configure Dynamics 365 CE components including: o entities/tables o forms and views o business rules o workflows and Power Automate o security roles • Support Power Pages configuration including: o web pages and templates o web roles and permissions Testing & Deployment • Develop functional test scenarios and support SIT and UAT cycles. • Validate that portal functionality and CRM processes meet business requirements. • Support release planning and deployment activities. Stakeholder Communication • Present solution designs and recommendations to both business and technical stakeholders. • Collaborate with project managers and delivery leaders to manage scope and expectations. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience Dynamics Expertise • 10+ years implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM • Strong functional experience with: o Dynamics 365 Sales o Dynamics 365 Customer Service o Dataverse data model o security and role management Portal / Power Pages Experience • Hands-on experience implementing Power Pages (Dynamics portals) • Understanding of: o external user authentication o web roles and table permissions o portal content management o exposing Dataverse data externally Consulting Skills • Experience leading requirements workshops and stakeholder sessions • Ability to translate business requirements into functional solution designs • Experience writing: o functional design documents (FDD) o user stories o configuration documentation Platform Knowledge • Power Platform ecosystem understanding: o Power Automate o Power Apps o Dataverse o basic integration patterns ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Experience implementing broker, partner, or customer portals • Experience with Azure authentication (Entra ID / Azure AD B2C) • Experience with Agile delivery and Azure DevOps • Microsoft Dynamics certifications preferred Examples: • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant • Power Platform Functional Consultant ________________________________________ Key Attributes We are looking for someone who is: • Strong business process thinker • Comfortable working in client-facing consulting environments • Able to bridge business and technical teams • Proactive in identifying improvements and solution enhancements • Comfortable working in fast-paced delivery environments ________________________________________ Typical Responsibilities on a Project This role would typically support: • Requirements workshops • CRM configuration • Portal design • User story development • Test support • Client demos • Production readiness ________________________________________ Thanks Tony Bandedla 3i Infotech Inc. ✉: tonynirmal.bandedla@3i-infotech.com
