Web Designer / Front End Website Developer Location: Remote Visa: USC, GC Rate: $70/Hr C2C Client: Medical Solutions Summary The Web Designer will work with the Marketing and IT departments to create dynamic brand-building websites that engage and attract customers. This position requires a combination of programming skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/REACT and PHP). Must have experience with responsive and adaptive design. Also, an understanding of DevOps Best Practices. Responsibilities • Develop Wordpress web applications/pages using current CSS3, PHP and HTML5 standards. • Translate design mockups and wireframes into fully functional, responsive websites. • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices. • Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency between design and implementation. • Test and debug websites across multiple browsers and devices to ensure cross-platform compatibility. • Possess expert knowledge and capabilities of creating WordPress custom themes and plugins.. Required Skills: • Experience building complex, responsive, high-traffic websites with WordPress and custom PHP. • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications. • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles. • Be able to code WordPress themes and plugins from scratch. • Strong front end skills including solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/REACT & jQuery. • Understanding of W3C standards and general design principles. • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) • Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages. • Knowledge of primary SEO elements. • Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques. • Understanding of best practices for user experience.
