At 3 Blind Mice Window Coverings, we’re looking for a part-time designer in Orange County who’s passionate about home design and enjoys helping people bring their vision to life. If you have an eye for design, thrive on building relationships, and want the flexibility to manage your own schedule — this could be the perfect fit. We’ll provide most of your appointments through our in-house scheduling team so you can focus on what you do best: consulting, designing, and closing sales. You’ll receive hands-on mentorship and support directly from our leadership team — including our CEO — who’s committed to helping you succeed. Compensation & Perks Commission-Based Pay – 10% of sales (less sales tax) Self-Generated Sales Bonus – 15% commission on leads you bring in Mileage Reimbursement – Paid travel for in-home appointments Cell Phone Stipend – Offset work-related communication costs Employee Discount – Window treatments for your own home at a special rate Tools Provided – iPad with pricing, contracts, and CRM software Qualifications • Previous window covering sales experience required. Experience in business development, home improvement, real estate, or in-home sales is a plus. • Passion for home design and delivering exceptional customer service • Excellent communication and consultation skills • Tech-savvy and comfortable with iPads, CRM systems, and e-contracts • Reliable transportation for in-home appointments • Self-driven and motivated to maximize earning potential What You’ll Do • Consult with Homeowners – Guide clients through window covering solutions • Work Pre-Booked Leads – Focus on design and sales; we supply most appointments • Showcase Motorization & Smart Home Solutions – Help homeowners modernize their spaces • Grow Your Own Book of Business – Earn higher commissions on self-generated leads Training & Support • Hands-on field training with senior designers • Weekly team meetings for coaching and best practices • One-on-one sessions with manufacturer reps • On-demand training library for continued learning Schedule • Part-time availability: 20–25 hours per week • Typical Days: Tuesday–Saturday (Saturday mornings only) • Evenings: One evening per week for 5:00 PM appointments Ready to Join Our Orange County Team?
