Full Description

Are you a product-minded builder who loves shaping ideas into reality with the help of AI? In this role, you'll draft product requirements, vibecode lightweight prototypes, and refine prompts while collaborating with researchers, designers, and engineers to move concepts from early exploration to pilot-ready tools. This role is an Embedded Consultant position, which means you'll sit directly on the Microsoft Intelligent Platforms team to provide hands-on support. This remote engagement runs from about November 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, with strong potential for renewal. While you'll spend most of your days working directly with your team at Microsoft, 2A offers multiple points of connection to support you in your role and career. We'll meet with you and your manager regularly to see how we can support the engagement, and you'll have opportunities to engage with 2A through working groups, community-building events, and professional development opportunities. Activities • Create clear product requirements, user stories, and documentation to guide design and development • Plan and track project milestones to keep deliverables on course • Build and test lightweight prototypes to explore and validate concepts • Experiment with and refine prompts for AI-based interactions • Support user research by preparing studies, gathering feedback, and synthesizing insights • Collaborate closely with research, design, and engineering teams to move projects forward Skills and qualifications - need to have • 3+ years of experience in product management, UX research, or prototyping • Strong organizational and communication skills with a track record of keeping projects moving smoothly • Experience writing product requirements and coordinating with cross-functional teams • Experience working with developers • Comfort working with AI/LLMs and prompt design at a basic to intermediate level • Ability to jump in independently and take ownership of tasks • Based in the U.S. • Authorized to work in the U.S. Nice to have • Hands-on prototyping skills (Python, JavaScript, no-code tools, or vibecoding environments) • Familiarity with AI tools and platforms (OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, etc.) • Background in research or knowledge management environments • Experience running or supporting user research sessions $63 - $77 an hour This role is offered on a W2 basis and benefits include a flexible time off plan; 100% employer-paid medical, dental and vision insurance; employer-paid life insurance policy for those enrolled in medical insurance; 401(k) plan with company match; fertility, surrogacy and adoption benefits; fitness and caregiver benefits; an Employee Assistance Program; and 100% employer-paid short and long-term disability coverage.
