Full Description

About 21Tech: For over 25 years, 21Tech has served public and private sector organizations across the U.S. and Canada. We specialize in managing large-scale transformations, application implementations, system integrations, and business process improvements. As a key Hexagon EAM partner, we provide consulting expertise to transit agencies, municipalities, and other asset-intensive organizations. Position Overview: 21Tech, LLC. is seeking an Architect to join our team as a subject matter expert (SME) specializing in Hexagon Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions. This role is designed for an experienced consultant who will work closely with project managers but is not responsible for direct project management. Instead, the Architect will provide deep functional expertise, technical guidance, and strategic solution design to ensure successful EAM implementations. This is a remote position; however, while travel has decreased over the past 6 years, candidates should be open to traveling up to 50% if business needs increase. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a trusted SME on Hexagon EAM solutions, guiding functional and technical teams through implementation. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business objectives, translating them into actionable functional and technical requirements. • Develop integrated solution designs that align with business needs, including system configurations, data transformations, and integrations. • Work closely with project managers, providing estimates, solution roadmaps, task dependencies and sequencing, and feasibility insights—without managing schedules or budgets. • Lead business process analysis workshops, assessing current workflows and defining optimized future-state processes based on industry best practices. • Develop presentations and solution demonstrations for all levels of internal and external stakeholders. • Act as the primary point of contact for technical and functional queries, supporting the configuration team with blueprints and solution architecture. • Support pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, solution demonstrations, and high-level effort estimations. • Provide mentorship to junior consultants and configuration teams. • Ensure business objectives through testing, validation, and iterative solution enhancements. Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of industry experience in asset-intensive fields (e.g., maintenance, engineering, facilities, transit, oil & gas, utilities, or manufacturing). • 5+ years of hands-on expertise with Hexagon EAM (preferably v11.6+ or Cloud). • Strong background in business consulting related to Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or ERP solutions. • Experience designing functional and technical solutions for EAM implementations, including system integrations. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), SharePoint, and Teams. • Familiarity with configuration and development tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), Python, FlexSQL, and REST APIs. • Understanding Waterfall and Agile methodologies and best practices. • Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements. • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology or Engineering or related field. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with organizational change management and process transformation. • Functional and technical certifications in Hexagon EAM. • Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Business, IT, or Engineering). Why Join 21Tech? • Work with industry-leading experts in Hexagon EAM consulting. • Engage with top-tier public sector and transit organizations. • Competitive salary and benefits package. • Opportunities for growth, learning, and mentorship.
