Must be or willing to become a Registered Home Care Aide with California DSS, have relevant caregiving experience, CPR/First Aid certification preferred, pass background checks, and have reliable transportation.

We are seeking caring and dedicated Home Care Aides / Caregivers who share our passion for helping others maintain independence, comfort, and dignity at home. Whether providing companionship or hands-on personal care, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve. Primary Responsibilities:Personal Care & Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care. • Support safe ambulation, transfers, and mobility using gait belts or Hoyer lifts as needed. • Encourage independence while respecting individual preferences and routines. Health & Safety Support: • Observe and report changes in physical condition, behavior, or mood to supervisors. • Monitor and document vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure when requested. • Remind clients to take prescribed medications in accordance with the care plan. • Follow infection control, fall prevention, and emergency procedures at all times. Meal Preparation & Nutrition: • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs and restrictions. • Assist with feeding, meal setup, and hydration reminders. • Encourage proper nutrition and safe food handling practices. Housekeeping & Environmental Support: • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing. • Maintain a safe and organized environment free from hazards or clutter. • Run errands including grocery shopping, pharmacy pick-up, and appointment accompaniment as assigned. Cognitive, Social, & Emotional Support: • Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional encouragement. • Engage clients in recreational or social activities to promote cognitive and emotional wellness. • Utilize memory care and dementia techniques to support clients with Alzheimer’s or related conditions. Documentation & Communication: • Complete accurate daily progress notes and care documentation. • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure continuity of care. • Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and company policy. Experience & Qualifications: • Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the California Department of Social Services (or willingness to register upon hire). • Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare setting preferred. • Familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, or developmental disability care is highly valued. • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification preferred. • Must pass Live Scan fingerprinting, TB test, and criminal background check as required by the State of California. • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (for shifts requiring client transport).
