C.H. Robinson is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Finance Continuous Improvement team. In this role, you will apply our Robinson Operating Model to advance Finance and Enterprise strategies through a Continuous Improvement and Lean framework, engaging with various stakeholders at all levels and understanding their individual requirements. The ideal candidate is passionate about streamlining processes, eliminating waste, and driving organizational excellence. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Continuously identify and reduce waste, friction, and inefficiencies in operational processes, and monitor process effectiveness and efficiency Support Continuous Improvement initiatives in line with Global Finance and Enterprise strategies Act as a change agent during project implementation to support successful delivery, partnering with business stakeholders to ensure effective communication and proper documentation of project activities Identify risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans, maintaining strong documentation practices and clear communication to support project continuity Support data and metric-driven CI efforts aligned to functional or business strategies, contributing to operational effectiveness and efficiency across teams. Collaborate with the Analytics team to create or improve operational performance reports to provide insights to leadership and employees; monitor performance, workload, and resource reports, estimate and measure project value Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute process mapping exercises, time studies, and other project-related process improvement tasks Collaborate with business partners across functions to ensure the successful implementation of projects through the deployment of tools, processes, and personnel Support and document calculations for return on investment (ROI) for identified Lean and process improvement solutions to enable prioritization Build and manage relationships and communications between internal and external stakeholders and senior management Support ongoing Continuous Improvement and Lean training, coaching, and development (PDCA Cycles, VSM, Problem Solving, Daily Management, etc.) Identify opportunities to enhance or supplement existing technologies through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to advance processes and automation Foster a culture of accountability, execution and on-going training and development Stay current on industry trends and emerging market conditions related to organizational effectiveness, Continuous Improvement, Lean Transformation, and enabling technologies Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university Minimum 4 years of professional experience executing large, cross functional projects using a continuous improvement framework Ability to travel up to 5% (domestically and internationally) Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Lean, Six Sigma and/or related methodologies Excellent project management skills with ability to effectively manage multiple cross-functional workstreams simultaneously Experience using business and data analytics to drive continuous improvement Change management capabilities with emphasis on team behavior change Demonstrated experience influencing without authority, effectively resolving conflict, and thriving in a global matrixed environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to the appropriate audience Ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams Values a diverse and inclusive work environment We will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience. Compensation Range $76,100.00 - $118,700.00 The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
