Provides resolution options in employee relations investigations, including corrective actions, performance improvement plans, workplace accommodations, compliance, and policy violations, using effective judgment and discretion aligned with employment labor laws and company policies. Partners with business leaders to maintain a positive employee relations climate by proactively providing consultation on conflict resolution, diversity, inclusion, cultural sensitivity, and other employee relations best practices. Works collaboratively with employees and business leaders on company-wide and department policy interpretation. Responds effectively and timely to employee relations queries in accordance with established SLA guidelines. Analyzes data to identify patterns and trends to proactively recommend employee relations programs and initiatives, providing options and recommending appropriate steps for resolution in accordance with policies, procedures, and protocols. Partners with facility human resources and business leaders to implement and administer policies and programs, including Fit for Duty and mandatory EAP referrals. Provides training and support to business leaders on policies and procedures related to employee relations. Leads unemployment compensation hearings and provides guidance and support to participating business leaders. Facilitates workplace and religious accommodations and the interactive process. Processes unpaid administrative leaves as necessary. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Proficiency in writing skills to ensure documentation is adequate and accurate. [Required] • Human Capital Management (HCM) experience [Required] • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required [Required] • Experience in building strong, effective business relationships. Strong interpersonal skills [Required] • Knowledge of human resource related areas of compliance, including federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare/industry specific regulations [Preferred] • Data and Analytics: Ability to understand and interpret human resources data.
