Engages in projects to develop structural capability and solve specific business problems. Promotes the use of data and proprietary algorithms/analytics to enhance efficiency and growth. Positions the health system as a national leader in the application of analytics. Assesses, recruits, and mentors team members with high potential in analytics. Develops baseline competence among health system leaders in analytics. Manages P&L of a portfolio of Clinical Analytics supporting specialized clinical programs, consumer-focused medicine, risk-based contracting/population health, and new-store growth. Collaborates with clinical and market executives to achieve strategic goals. Innovates, adopts, and adapts service offerings, budget, staffing, policies, and talent development for Clinical Analytics functions based on research of cross-industry best practices, industry trends, and forecasting. Develops, plans, and executes a full-stack data strategy in partnership with Information Technology (IT) to improve the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, and relevance of analytics for clinical operations. Envisions, develops, and leads the strategy for benchmarking clinical and operational performance, including goal-setting and dissemination of best practices from relevant peers. Provides direct supervision to Directors and other leaders for company-wide Clinical Analytics functions and the full organizational structure for these areas, which include Business Analysts, Clinical Specialists, and Clinical Analysts.
