Job Description Summary The role of the TGS Data Functional Manager is to serve as the bridge between business users and technical teams in the deployment of Data analytics capabilities and Data Democratization strategy. The TGS Data Functional Manager will support the anlaytical needs of Global Commercial and Marketing teams. Along with the Data Functional Lead, she/ he will support the Domain Data owner and Data product owner to elaborate a Data Strategy and roadmap to roll it out, in the context of Analytics modernisation program. This will consist in creating data product in a new BI architecture (Databricks/ BW4 Hana), as well as connecting existing dashboards or create new dashboards to serve end users. This individual will work closely with TGS Data Functional Leads, Data Product owners and key users as well as IT partners, to deliver the requirements. Key missions will consist in: Data Strategy & Data Roadmap o Understand the Data strategy as defined by Data Functional lead and Business stakeholders o Support the Data Domain / Sub Domain owners in the definition and prioritization of their Data roadmap, in liaison with Data governance o With Data Domain, Accountable for Governance and Oversight of Data Product definition from Functional perspective User requirements: o Conduct deep-dive stakeholder interviews to extract nuanced requirements o Promote data democratization and the usage of data products. o Coordinate the translation of the user requirements into Functional Specifications, with the support of Process SME, Business Partner, Platform teams and IT partner. o Promote data democratization and the usage of data products. o Assist the Data Engineering team with shaping Project execution: o Answer developers’ questions related to functional areas or data, liaising with Business Partner, Business users or SME when needed. o Prepare and support the execution of business testing phase, with the support of Business report owner, Key users and Business Partner o Support Business users in the PQ execution o Support Cutover activities related to business users’ deployment. o Support hypercare activities. Minimum Requirement: High School Diploma or GED Degree level qualification; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
