Position Summary: Directly responsible for multiple products within a portfolio and/or management responsibilities of Product Owners aligned to a specific value-stream, workflow, customer journey or product family. Provides leadership and has accountability for successfully defining and delivering products that anticipate the needs of customers/workers/users, delivering results against P&L objectives. This position is highly involved in the funding management and budgeting processes for portfolio. Responsibilities: May perform management duties related to the supervision of Product Owners and Product Analysts Lead the product planning process. Gathers input from users/customers/stakeholders to create long-term strategy. Sets direction and priority. Performs stakeholder management, user/market segmentation, competitive analysis, product funding requests, release planning and business case realization (product P&L). Collaborate with the organization on vision, strategy, decisioning, tactical execution, and measurement systems Develop and implement new product introduction and roll-out strategy, plans, and content with cross-functional teams and leaders. Effectively communicate the value of the workflow/journey/family, and the products within it, to stakeholders Required/Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree In addition to required degree, six (6) or more years related work experience In lieu of Bachelor’s degree(s) AND six (6) or more years related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND ten (10) or more years related work experience Additional Preferred Qualifications 7 or more years working in the utility industry Experience as a Senior or Lead Product Owner Agile Product Owner certification SAFe certification, preferably SAFE 6.0+ Experience leading delivery of data lakes of massive scale on Cloud infrastructure Experience leading delivery of machine learning or AI models Experience leading and supporting customer-facing digital technologies Experience leading integration of vendor technologies in SaaS and/or COTS models. Familiarity with Customer Technology PMO artifacts and expectations "Black Belt" Six Sigma certification Working Conditions Office environment mostly, often with research, analysis or engagement conducted in plants or field Specific Requirements Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action, preferably with experience shipping software Ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts to a new product development team Clear passion for topics of technology products and an ability to identify possibilities to innovate Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities Excellent communication skills including the ability to build relationships and effectively influence across all management and organizational levels Strong understanding of the SDLC process and the ability to work in an agile environment with bi-weekly releases Ability to educate and communicate to leaders across the Company on effective use of digital tools Ability to quickly understand business, evaluate priorities and assess value of product features Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities Two or more years’ experience with relevant new product or technology development experience working in a fast-paced environment Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you have the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your goals Travel Requirements 5-15% Relocation Assistance Provided (as applicable) No Represented/Union Position No Visa Sponsored Position No Please note that in order to be considered for this position, you must possess all of the basic/required qualifications.
