The Operations Manager is both a strategic planner and a hands-on leader—capable of excelling administratively in the office while also working alongside Truck Team Members in the field when needed. Operations Manager Role Summary The Operations Manager is a high-energy professional who is proactive, self-motivated, and strategic. This hybrid role requires the ability to lead both in the office—planning, coaching, and overseeing metrics—and in the field, working alongside our Truck Teams to ensure operational excellence. You will: • Supervise, coach, and motivate Truck Team Members to achieve sales, marketing, and operational goals. • Drive route efficiency, same-day growth, and job quality. • Maintain accurate operational records and ensure all EFAs (On-time Service, Up-front Rates, Clean Trucks, Friendly Drivers) are consistently met. • Foster a strong “Culture of Sales” and “Culture of Feedback” through daily engagement, recognition, and accountability. • Work in the field weekly to lead by example. • Support the Senior Operations Manager and GM with daily transaction records and reporting Shared Responsibilities & Expectations Across both roles, you will be expected to: • Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every job. • Maintain high-quality execution and proactively address any issues. • Review metrics daily, identify efficiency opportunities, and communicate improvements. • Participate in morning huddles and help foster a team-first culture. • Lead or contribute to local marketing initiatives. Requirements For Operations Manager & General Laborer • Prior leadership experience in operations, dispatch, or a similar role. • Strong understanding of route planning, sales, and operational efficiency. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • 1+ year of dispatching experience and 2+ years in a similar role. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day. • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and (ideally) Salesforce. • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills. • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Flexible schedule including weekend availability. • Passion, Integrity, Professionalism, and Empathy (P.I.P.E. values).
