Summary The Mental Health Worker is a member of a multidisciplinary team. The Mental Health Worker serves as co-team leader, partnered with a Master's level therapist and is responsible for providing team and individually delivered therapy and case management to children and their families in the home and/or community. We are hiring A Mental Health Worker works as one half of a team which provides treatment services to families, including therapy and counseling to a child and family. The Family Based Team (a masters level and bachelors level therapist) helps with skills training and education designed to enable families to care for their children with mental health needs at home. The FBT works flexible hours, including evenings and possibly weekends, to meet the needs of the children and families on their assigned caseload. The FBT travels to client homes, other agencies, and community locations for the purpose of arranging and providing community and home-based services for children, adolescents, and families. Pay rate: $20.00 3 years paid training in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy Model through the Philadelphia Child and Guidance Center (eligibility for state certification upon successful completion of training) Bonus: SBH/PAH Employee sign on- $1000.00 to be paid in 3 increments $250.00- After orientation which includes shadowing $250.00- After competing 90-day probation $500.00- After 6 months of employment Schedule: Make your own schedule! Position Requirements: Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology, or anthropology or any bachelor’s degree in human services; Work Experience: Minimum of one years’ experience in a CASSP System Program. Required Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license Responsibilities: Provide team (60%) and individually (40%) delivered therapy to children and their families in the home and/or the community. Works collaboratively with lead therapist to assure all client and family treatment needs are met. Utilize safe crisis prevention techniques as deemed appropriate. Document treatment data/results that are clinically relevant on progress notes and submit in a timely manner (within 24 hours of each encounter). Complete client intake paperwork per company/program guidelines and regulations Complete recurrent assessments within the regulated timeframes Assist the Mental Health Professional with development of a treatment plans and assuring they are being done timely in relation to regulated time frames. Assist/participate in client psychiatric evaluations and medication checks. Collaborate with other providers to secure appropriate aftercare/discharge services and community linkages supports during the course of treatment.
