International BD (Europe, America, Japan, Korea) Position: International BD Director/Senior Manager Job Title: International BD (Europe, America, Japan, Korea) Department: R&D Center Direct Supervisor: R&D Vice President Job Description 1.Responsible for searching and identifying global (especially in European, American, Japanese, and Korean markets) early to late-stage clinical phase small molecule innovative drug projects (products, technologies, etc.) in the company's key focus areas. 2.Execute the company's international project collection, partnership, evaluation, and execution; communicate and maintain relationships with relevant international companies, and maintain relationships with international partner companies. 3.Deeply participate in and lead cross-functional teams (including R&D, Clinical,Regulatory, Medical, Marketing, Sales, Legal, etc.) in conducting comprehensive scientific due diligence on target projects, including pharmacology, toxicology, pharmacokinetics, clinical protocol, and data interpretation. Utilize profound pharmacological knowledge to independently assess the project's scientific innovation, developability, technical risks, and synergy with the company's existing R&D platforms and production capabilities. Assist in coordinating and resolving challenging issues during license-in. 4.Responsible for compiling drug-related information for potential projects, conducting patent tracking and analysis for potential project, researching and judging the international and domestic market competition landscape, performing preliminary commercial assessments, and preparing project feasibility analysis reports and cooperation plans. 5.Responsible for cooperation negotiations, designing transaction structures (including licensing-in, co-development, joint ventures, etc.). Draft, review, and advance the negotiation and signing of key legal documents such as Term Sheets and License Agreements. 6.Attend international conferences, research international new product and technology information, monitor developments of similar products domestically and internationally, collect relevant information, and assist the company to formulate R&D strategies and pipeline planning. 7.Build and maintain a network of partnership relationships with global biotech companies, research institutes, and large pharmaceutical companies. Gain insights into industry trends and the competitive landscape to provide forward-looking suggestions for the company's pipeline strategy planning. Qualifications Education, Major: Full-time Master's or PhD degree, with a background in Pharmacology, Pharmacy,Medicine, Chemistry, Biology or related fields. Experience Requirements: Core Experience: At least 5 years of BD, drug project license-in, or related R&D experience in innovative chemical drugs (small molecules). Led or played a core role in the entire process (from search to signing) of at least 2 innovative drug projects collaboration in non-oncology areas. Possess a rich network of contacts in academia and industry, enabling quick access to cutting-edge project information. Knowledge & Skills Requirements: 1.Proficient in pharmacology, with a deep understanding of the entire drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical development process. Possess solid foundational knowledge of finance and law (intellectual property). 2.Excellent scientific and business analysis skills, capable of independently completing project evaluation reports and investment proposals. 3.Exceptional communication, coordination, and negotiation skills, able to conduct efficient and professional business communication in both Chinese and English environments.
