VSC Fire & Security is seeking candidates for the position of Deficiency Specialist. What we offer: Competitive salary. Range $50,000 - $60,000 and up based on experience. What you need: Three to five (3-5) years of industry related work experience. In-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, including design, installation, operation, and maintenance. Familiarity with local and national fire codes and regulations, such as NFPA standards. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team, allocate resources effectively, and drive results. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze deficiencies and propose effective solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed reports and interact with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to pass various background checks. Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle. Desirable (but not required): Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Experience in conducting inspections or assessments of fire protection systems. What you will do: Responsible for the overall management of all incoming orders from customers and maintain customer expectations to meet service agreements as the primary point of contact. Supervise and lead a team of Fire Sprinkler Deficiency Specialists, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise. Build trust with Divisions to increase efficiency on orders and scheduling.
