Job Description: Saybrook University seeks graduate student Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join its Department of Mind-Body Medicine. This is an internal hire only. Under the direction of the department chair, associate department chair, or specialization coordinator, the teaching assistant will be assigned to support administrative and instructional activities between five to 20 hours per week. The teaching assistantship offers learning opportunities for graduate students interested in teaching careers and mentorship. A. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Partnering with the faculty of record to prepare Canvas courses, update syllabi, and manage videoconferences Reviewing and responding to submitted assignments as directed Attending faculty team meetings as needed Serving as a peer mentor as assigned Supporting department initiatives or special projects Respond to emails within 24 hours Monday through Friday Submit work hours in Workday by Sunday evening B. Position Qualifications Currently enrolled in a graduate program in the College of Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences Completed at least three semesters in the program and with satisfactory academic standing Eligible for Federal Work Study (FWS) employment Compensation This opportunity is budgeted at $17.00 base compensation.
