Product Manager – Camera & Card Readers The Product Manager for Camera & Card Readers will own the strategy, planning, and execution of OWC’s camera media and card reader portfolio. This includes professional-grade memory card readers, camera connectivity tools, and workflow accessories designed for photographers, videographers, and creative professionals. Your role is to define what we build and why—ensuring every product meets user needs, fits the brand, and aligns with business goals. You’ll work closely with the SVP of Product to shape the vision for this category, create a clear roadmap, and lead each product through the development process. You'll use a structured, gate-based process to align cross-functional teams, drive milestones, and deliver high-quality launches. What a Product Manager Does at OWC Product Managers at OWC are responsible for the success of their products across the entire lifecycle. They identify opportunities, gather customer insights, analyze the market, and lead cross-functional collaboration from concept to launch. While engineering focuses on how a product is built, the Product Manager defines what to build and why—bridging customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. What Will You be Doing? · Lead the full lifecycle for OWC’s camera and card reader products—from ideation to launch and through end-of-life · Define category strategy and roadmap in partnership with the SVP of Product Translate user pain points, feedback, and research into clear product requirements · Collaborate closely with engineering, sourcing, operations, and marketing to define features, BOM targets, and schedules · Drive a gate-based development process to ensure visibility, alignment, and accountability at each stage Partner with marketing and sales on product positioning, messaging, and launch strategy · Track product performance post-launch and lead improvements or line extensions as needed · Provide executive updates and strategic recommendations across the organization improvements or line extensions as needed · Provide executive updates and strategic recommendations across the organization What You Bring with You? · 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in consumer electronics or creative hardware · Experience with digital photography, camera ecosystems, or media workflow tools is a strong plus · Deep understanding of card formats (CFexpress, SD, etc.), USB/Thunderbolt protocols, and pro media workflows · Proven track record managing hardware products from concept through launch · Strong communication skills with the ability to write crisp product briefs and lead cross-functional initiatives · Analytical, organized, and able to make data-informed decisions · Passion for empowering creators and professionals through thoughtful, well-designed tools Compensation Structure for the Position The compensation package for this role includes a starting base salary of $95,000 USD annually. The amount of variable compensation will be determined based on your experience, skills, and performance.
