The Role As the Head of Consulting Services, you will develop and direct service delivery operations and strategic planning to meet organizational goals. You will organize, lead and develop a team that delivers client services with the goal of increasing revenue. You will coach and assist with career development, personal growth goals, and manage client success. Key Responsibilities • Coach, mentor, and develop services delivery team, including providing career development planning and opportunities. • Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet team and company productivity and quality goals. • Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the services delivery team. • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with our organization's expectations and emphasizes our identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values. • Lead services delivery team using performance management and development processes that encourage employee contribution and include goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning. • Guide services delivery team in supporting, mentoring, and coaching their employee teams to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and revenue goals. • Manage conflict within the team and across client relationships while training managers in conflict resolution. • Maintain transparent communication across the organization through regular touchpoints in appropriate mediums. • Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the services delivery team. • Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the mission and the goals of the services delivery team efficiently and effectively. • Review performance data in order to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness. • Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the team. Qualifications • 10+ years leading and managing marketing operations and marketing operations teams • 5+ years marketing agency or consulting services experience • Desire to define and influence industry best-practices • Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management • Knowledge of the functions, operation, and mission of the consulting team • Above average written and spoken communication skills • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department • Demonstrated ability to serve as a highly knowledgeable resource to the organization's management team that provides strong leadership, direction, and avocation • Excellent organizational management skills.
