Test Automation Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: CACI is actively seeking an Automation Test Engineer, proficient in the partnership of OpenText (formerly Micro Focus) Unified Functional Tester (UFT) and OpenText Application Lifecycle Manager (ALM), for the development and execution of automation code in support of monthly release Regression Test events and test data creation. This role includes working with Business Process (BP) Functional team members to understand the end-to-end business process scenarios being developed / tested as well as the required data to be generated to most accurately represent end user use of the system. As a team member of the Automation Team, you will leverage your experience and skillsets to support test event schedules as provided by the program. Support our customer’s mission to feed people and improve the procurement, distribution, and tracking of food commodities! Integrate and work alongside a highly experienced and professional team! Responsibilities: Deliver new automation development scenarios as prioritized by USDA. Conduct demos of the new automation scenarios with USDA agency stakeholders, as necessary. Execute automation Regression Test scope for monthly and special project releases, within the parameters of the release schedule. Generate volume test data in support of test events, as necessary. Support OpenText ALM custom code changes as requested by the WBSCM RM. Identity and assess new automation capabilities for alternate browsers (ex. Google Chrome), WBSCM interfaces, and WBSCM reports. Manage the UFT software version compatibility with OpenText ALM (SaaS) upgrades. Work across technical and functional teams to ensure program. test requirements are met while enhancing capabilities. Communicate effectively with diverse customer organizations and provide status to stakeholders. Qualifications: Required: U.S. Citizenship Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required. 7+ years of relevant business experience; 5+ years of automated test development and execution experience. 2+ years’ experience using OpenText and SAP tools (ALM, UFT, LoadRunner). Extensive, real-world experience in the design, development, and execution of automated testing scripts to reduce effort / cost with manual testing. Desired: SAP functional experience in core modules (ECC, SRM, CRM, FI, SD/MM, Portals, BW) preferred. Testing methodology education and/or experience Cross functional coordination experience Solution Manager/Automation/Performance Test experience are preferred.
