Description Summary: The Investor Relations and Analytics Manager (IRAM) will report to the [Assistant Director of Investor Relations]. The IRAM will partner with Investor Relations leadership, the Chief Financial Officer, and other members of senior management in order build an analytical framework to report and monitor on peer and competitor trends and insights, and to bring that feedback to IR leadership and the Executive Leadership Team. The role will also be a key part of the Investor Relations team and all IR related initiatives and objectives. The IRAM will be an influential, high profile leader who is skilled at building and maintaining relationships at all levels. This role will hold primary accountability for high-profile projects, including tracking peers and competitors, including their valuation, financials, and other strategies to bring that feedback back to IR and Executive Leadership. Duties & Responsibilities: Shape a compelling and transparent vision for Huntington with external stakeholders (e.g., investors, analysts, etc,). Advise key internal stakeholders (e.g., CFO, CEO, Exec Leadership Team, Board of Directors) on most appropriate way to frame and communicate key messages. Proactively build relationships with current and prospective external stakeholders (investors, analysts, other IR directors at peers/competitors, etc..). Bring insights back to the Huntington organization. Synthesize key learnings from analyst/investor reactions to Huntington information releases. Assess what is resonating with the Street and what is not. Illustrate key trends in peer and competitors, and how the Street is viewing them. Monitor peer and competitors financial results and business strategies; report on market commentary and analysis regarding key trends and insights Compile appropriate reports and data for use by senior management. Review, summarize, and analyze research reports regarding their perception of Huntington, the industry, and competitors. Develop models and reporting to bring dynamic insights from peers and competitors back to IR and executive leadership team Develop strong relationships and credibility with key internal teams, including finance, accounting, corporate communications, legal, and business segments, to build a better understanding of the company and to execute job responsibilities efficiently and effectively. Work closely with IR leadership and business segments in order to deeply understand the competitive dynamics in our products and markets Will also support core IR team activities such as earnings preparation process, conference updates, investor and analyst meetings and events Develop strong relationships and credibility with key internal teams, including finance, accounting, corporate communications, legal, and business segments, to build a better understanding of the company and to execute job responsibilities efficiently and effectively. Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline 5 or more years of investor relations, investment banking, capital markets, or corporate finance experience Preferred Qualifications: CFA certification Previous Investor Relations experience not required, though tangential connectivity greatly preferred (Corporate Finance, Strategy, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Treasury). Understanding of bank or financial sector key performance metrics/financials. High attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Excellent ability to communicate with members at all levels throughout the organization and outside professionals. Broad thinker with an interest and ability to develop and deliver views on operations, strategies, and the overall environment. Able to handle confidential information and material with the highest degree of professional responsibility. Good project management skills and the drive to lead projects to successful outcomes. Strong analytical skills, including Financial Planning/Modeling. Solid personal computer skills with strong knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and other related software. Compensation Range: $102,000-$208,000 annually The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
