We are looking for a Marketing Communications & Operations Manager to support the growing needs of our Retail Marketing Team. Our Retail Marketing Team focuses on driving growth with partners such as Amazon, Chewy, Petco, Walmart, Costco, and more. The candidate must be highly collaborative, a self-starter, creative problem solver, nimble, and willing to take a hands-on approach to execution. This is a customer-facing position which requires a high degree of interpersonal savvy, professionalism, and partnership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage the development of best-in-class retail content and creative. Assist the Communications & Merchandising Manager with anticipating and prioritizing content and creative requirements for the Retail Marketing Team. Ensure that agencies and customers adhere to brand and retail creative guidelines; suggest improvements and revise guidelines as necessary. Develop SOPs that incorporate customer specific requirements, improve efficiency, and institutionalize ways of working. Partner with key stakeholders (e.g., Retail Team, Retail Customers, Brand Marketers, Regulatory, Legal, Medical, Corporate Communications, etc.) to secure alignment and achieve timely approvals. Serve as the primary point of contact for the creative agency. Manage agency team relationship, ensuring on-strategy deliverables, timely interaction, and appropriate follow through. Work closely with CRC Coordinator to understand status across all jobs and proactively lead the resolution of roadblocks. Manage the planning, development, and implementation of Retail communications. Includes the development and/or revision of internal talking points, external announcements, annual pricing and policy updates, and more. Develop SOPs to formalize Retail Communications and serve as a liaison with Brand Marketing, Corporate Communications, etc. Work directly with customers as necessary to ensure seamless transfer of assets, answer questions, and more. Support team presentation development and manage related agencies. Manage the retail content asset library and ensure compliance. Develop and maintain governance documents and processes related to the development, syndication, and maintenance of creative assets. Ensure creative assets within Salsify are compliant, accurate, and up to date. Audit customer product detail pages, brand pages, and marketing creative to validate compliance and to identify gaps. Develop and maintain internal resources including but not limited to ad catalog, competitive assessments, CTAs, etc. that may be used as reference and for continuous improvement. Manager customer meeting schedule and logistics for industry events. In partnership with Account and Marketing Teams, coordinate schedules across accounts for key events such as VMX and WVC. Partner with meeting management to secure rooms, hospitality, and more to ensure successful and seamless customer meetings. Manage and track the Retail Advertising and Promotion budget. Assist Head of Retail Marketing with purchase orders, invoice processing, and billing reconciliation throughout the year. Ensure accurate tracking of marketing spend and adherence to accounting deadlines. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
