This role blends technical understanding, solutioning, and relationship building with state agencies. Candidates must be comfortable using AI tools and converting customer pain points into modernization opportunities. Key Responsibilities Act as a bridge between agency leadership (CIOs, Directors, PMOs, Procurement) and internal delivery teams. Analyze customer challenges and propose AI-driven modernization solutions. Use tools such as Gemini, Claude, GPT, Document AI, Looker, BigQuery, Power Platform, Dynamics, AWS services to shape proposals, narratives, and prototypes. Build strong relationships with state government stakeholders. Convert early ideas into funded POCs, pilots, and long-term projects. Drive growth through statewide procurement vehicles (e.g., TOPS, JPMC). Translate technical capabilities into clear business value. Required Skills Strong understanding of cloud, data, CRM, analytics, or workflow modernization. Hands-on use of AI tools for research, ideation, and content creation. Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences. Strong communication, problem-solving, and storytelling skills. Ability to work independently with government clients. Familiarity with Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft ecosystem. Preferred Qualifications Experience with state government consulting (Illinois, Missouri, Texas, California preferred). Veteran or public-service background. Previous experience building AI demos or prototypes. Ability to whiteboard, storyboard, and structure modernization use cases. Why This Role?
