Business Development Manager (Peoplelink) Peoplelink Staffing, a national leader in workforce solutions, is seeking a Business Development Manager to support and grow our Downers Grove, IL market! This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional who thrives in building new relationships, engaging within the community, and helping local employers connect with top talent. Business Development Manager Job Summary Pay: $60,000 – $75,000 per year (Base) Bonus: Commission based on Gross Profit Location: Rockford, IL (local travel required) Drive new client acquisition and expand existing customer relationships Execute sales strategies aligned with branch and regional goals Perform in-person and phone cold calls to grow client base Utilize Peoplelink’s sales methodology (CSP, PPP, Discovery Agreements) Present workforce solutions tailored to customer needs Negotiate pricing to maintain minimum Gross Profit expectations Collaborate with recruiting and service teams for successful delivery Participate in networking, outreach, and community engagement Track all sales activities in CRM system Other duties as assigned Business Development Manager Qualifications 2–3 years of verifiable staffing industry sales experience required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Prior B2B sales experience, preferably in staffing or HR solutions Strong communication skills and business acumen Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities at once Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License Ability to perform local travel 60–75% of the time Why Peoplelink?
