High school diploma, prior janitorial or residential cleaning experience, physical ability to lift and stand frequently, English proficiency, and ability to work well in diverse teams.
Description, Responsibilities & Essential Functions The Housekeeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness within our safe havens, including resident rooms and administrative offices/spaces. All responsibilities are expected to be delivered satisfactorily, with a customer service focus and are implemented according to our mission and vision and according to Agency standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish a variety of cleaning and housekeeping tasks while following all safety guidelines for handling/use of chemicals according to our established Agency procedures, routines and schedules. They will also assist in related projects or tasks as assigned. These include but are not limited to: * Emptying trash, dusting, spot cleaning, sanitizing community areas * Vacuuming and shampooing rugs/carpets * Dry and wet mopping * Cleaning bathrooms * Giving bedrooms a complete deep cleaning prior to new residents arriving and after residents depart * Prepare client's bedroom and/or apartment units during turnover, including deep cleaning before new residents move in and after residents leave.
