Our client, a vibrant and highly-rated hotel in the heart of **Nashville, Tennessee**, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Hotel Operations Manager to oversee all day-to-day operational aspects of the property. This pivotal role requires a leader with a proven track record in hospitality management, exceptional guest service skills, and a deep understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery, driving revenue, controlling costs, and fostering a positive work environment for all staff members. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all departments. Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of department heads and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and guest satisfaction. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance guest experience, service quality, and brand standards. Monitor and control departmental budgets, labor costs, and other operating expenses to achieve financial targets. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships for operational supplies. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and service recovery issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the General Manager and Sales & Marketing teams to drive revenue and occupancy. Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure consistent service delivery and professional development. Conduct regular property walk-throughs to ensure the hotel is well-maintained and presented to the highest standards. Analyze operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and performance management of operational staff. Ensure effective communication and coordination between all hotel departments. Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making for the hotel's future success. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel operations management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations). Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Facilities Management. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and other relevant hotel software. Exceptional guest service orientation and a passion for the hospitality industry. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience in a boutique or upscale hotel environment is a plus.
