How you make a difference: The Regional Advanced Practice Director leads clinical quality, evidence-based practice, and provider performance across assigned regions. They guide interdisciplinary teams, optimize clinical workflows, and ensure readiness for accreditation and regulatory compliance. The role oversees peer review, quality audits, data-driven performance improvement, and provider education programs. They collaborate with analytics, informatics, medical, nursing, compliance, and operations leaders to enhance clinical outcomes and operational efficiency. They also support organizational initiatives such as workforce development, telehealth expansion, and continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities: • Provide clinical guidance, support clinical protocol development, and ensure evidence-based, patient-centered care. • Lead audits, peer reviews, quality improvement activities, and accreditation readiness efforts. • Develop and deliver provider education, competency validation, case conferences, and mentoring for Advanced Practice Providers. • Analyze clinical data, partner with analytics teams, and oversee corrective actions to improve quality, safety, and compliance. • Collaborate across medical, nursing, compliance, IT, and operations leadership to enhance workflows, risk mitigation, and organizational performance. Qualifications & Requirements: EDUCATION • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or master’s in physician assistant studies required. • MBA or advanced leadership certification preferred. EXPERIENCE • Minimum 5 years of advanced practice experience, including 2+ years in leadership, quality, or medical director roles. • Proficiency in EHR systems, data interpretation, communication, and performance improvement methodologies. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS • Active, unrestricted NP or PA license (multistate preferred); board certification (FNP, AGNP, PMHNP, ARC-PA or equivalent) required. • BLS/ACLS required. • CCHP, Six Sigma, or quality-related credentials preferred.
