Full Description

The Packaging Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the production Staff and ensuring departmental safety and quality standards are maintained. In addition, this individual will help identify opportunities for improvement and drive their implementation. Job RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure safety and quality standards are met.Coach and mentor production employees to support organization development. Train permanent and temporary employees in safety, quality, and basic equipment operation.Understanding quality requirements and ability to serve as a night shift resource for the quality department for work-in process and finished goods testing and approval as needed.Track and monitor performance to departmental KPIs.Perform/monitor inventory transactions within the ERP/WMS systems. College degree or related job experience a plus.EXPERIENCE:2-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.1-3 years' experience in a supervisory role1-3 years' experience with ERP systemsPhysical Requirements:Extended periods of standing.
