Required Qualifications • 24 months of verifiable, current experience driving a 22' minimum box truck, or stake bed truck. • Possess a clean driving record: • No more than one moving violation in any one year period. • No more than one preventable accident in any two year period. • No restrictions, suspensions or DUI convictions in the past 3 years. • Ability to pass DOT physical examination requirements. • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service. • A willingness to learn and grow with our Company. • Must be 21 years of age or older. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Preferred Qualifications • 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation. • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. • Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus. • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Looking for a Cool Job in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team representing the industry leader in HVAC equipment? The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the inventory of the Warehouse and daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. The ultimate goal of this role is to procure, process, dispatch, and deliver/transport products to customers and vendors for one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships. Duties and Responsibilities • Daily loading and unloading of products. • Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers. • Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise. • Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy. • Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed. • Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager. • Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns. • Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device. • Assist with physical inventory and inventory control. • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to bemoved, gathered, distributed, or shipped. • Provide excellent customer service to external customers. • Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic. • Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties. • Wear appropriate PPE. • Perform other duties as assigned.
