Position Summary... What you'll do...Walmart Connect’s Sales Leadership team is seeking an experienced Team Lead to drive account strategy, execution, and revenue growth for a key advertiser in the CPG space. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, managing a high-performing team of salespeople, account managers, and campaign managers to scale client partnerships. What You’ll Do • Own Account Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute strategies that deliver significant business growth for clients and Walmart. • Lead & Inspire Teams: Build, train, and manage a talented, consultative sales and services team. • Client Partnership: Understand clients’ businesses deeply and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs. • Deliver Excellence: Present Walmart Connect’s solutions in a compelling, professional manner while ensuring top-tier customer service. • Industry Leadership: Represent Walmart Connect as a thought leader in major markets (NYC, Chicago, San Francisco). • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to drive revenue growth and resolve escalations. • Strategic Projects: Execute initiatives involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development. • Product Influence: Collaborate with Product Marketing to shape offerings based on client needs. • Brand Evangelism: Promote Walmart Connect at events, conferences, and media opportunities. • Forecasting & Resource Allocation: Demonstrate strong ability to forecast and allocate resources efficiently. What We’re Looking For • Proven experience building and managing high-performing teams. • Track record of driving revenue growth through emerging opportunities and established partnerships. • Deep understanding of advertising technology, data, and performance measurement trends. • Skilled storyteller with exceptional communication and presentation abilities. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment. • Strong consultative sales skills with C-suite leaders at brands and agencies. • Demonstrated success in leading change and achieving operational excellence. • Ability to influence cross-functionally and foster collaboration. • Experience selling or buying cross-network online marketing solutions (programmatic, search, branding, sponsorships, display/video). • Comfortable navigating matrixed organizations and managing ambiguity. • Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset. • Passion for understanding client businesses and the Walmart ecosystem. • Ability to balance deep operational analysis with high-level executive presentations. • Bold, fast-moving, and adaptable to change. The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
