Description POSITION SUMMARY: Pricing analyst is responsible for implementing pricing strategy, supporting requests for quotations and improve profitability for automotive categories for Mexico customers as well as competitiveness. • Develop, implement, and maintain pricing strategies across product categories to achieve margin, revenue and competitiveness goals. • Analyze market trends, competitive data, cost changes, and customer behaviors to recommend pricing adjustments. • Track pricing models, large customer deals, and major pricing actions post–go-live to ensure they are performing as expected, identifying early variances and recommending corrective actions. • Support customer-specific pricing programs, large account contracts, and bids—including pricing recommendations and scenario modeling. • Review price override requests and partner with Sales to ensure pricing decisions balance competitiveness and margin protection. • Maintain the pricing database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date pricing across internal systems. • Work with Finance to model the financial impact of price changes and identify margin improvement opportunities. • Enhance and standardize pricing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Product Management to understand cost changes and inventory dynamics that influence pricing. • Define with the MD the different pricing structures allowing competition at different levels across the Mexican market. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required) • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. • Experience: 5+ years of experience in pricing management, and competitive research, preferably in the automotive aftermarket • Proven track record in process improvement, project management, managing new RFQs and new product pricing • Experience working with Excel and other analytical tools, Power BI or other visualization tools • Experience in working in ERPs Product Knowledge • Familiarity with Mexico automotive aftermarket, parts distribution, is strongly preferred. • Knowledge of product and catalog management tools Soft Skills • Strong work ethic and self driven • Comfortable with data-driven decision-making, performance scorecards, and KPIs. • Able to operate in a fast-moving, matrixed, and remote-first environment. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills at all organizational levels. • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to business strategy. • Proficiency in product and project management tools, MDM platforms, and data analytics. • Strong experience in data governance, master data clean-up, and ownership frameworks. • Change management experience, particularly in transitioning from decentralized to centralized models. Language • Fluent in Spanish and English.
