Job Highlights: • Company: Target • Location: Remote • Start Date: Immediate openings available • Position: Seasonal Back-half Days Yard Coordinator • Compensation: A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Responsibilities: As a Seasonal Back-Half Days Yard Coordinator, you will be responsible for: • Executing daily trailer movements within Target's Distribution Center Yards, ensuring efficient and safe operations. • Fostering a 'safety first' culture through awareness, training, and accountability, and working with carriers to ensure compliance with safety expectations. • Operating Target-owned vehicles for yard audit routines and updating the yard management system to reflect the current status of all trailers. • Communicating effectively with DC executives regarding trailer needs and progress, and monitoring trailer releases to ensure timely deliveries to stores. • Conducting trailer inventories and ensuring equipment is available for preventive maintenance checks. • Collaborating with First Mile Transportation to monitor trailer pools and freight flow. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need: • A high school degree or equivalent. • A valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one. • To be at least 18 years of age or older. • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a high-volume, high-activity environment. • Strong oral and written communication skills. Nice-to-haves: While not required, the following experience and skills are highly desirable: • Direct experience within a distribution center truck yard or traffic management.
