Summary As a primary contact for our clients, and the first reviewer of new projects for our team, you’ll play an important role in setting the tone for everything we do. For the junior product owner position, you should have 1-3 years of experience in a technology-related role. You’re self-motivated, ambitious and curious. You’re ready to ask questions and willing to make mistakes – but always strives not to repeat them a second time. You’d like to create amazing digital experiences for a wide range of people: people with disabilities, people from a wide range of backgrounds and in diverse situations. On a daily basis, you will: • Respond to emails and Slack messages promptly • Be an active participant in meetings with our team and our clients • Follow our project workflows and keep our status tools updated • Facilitate conversations within our team and with our clients, asking questions and following up on answers, receiving and distributing digital assets • Learn and grow in your understanding of user experience, accessibility, inclusive design, and technology constraints • Collaborate and coordinate with a senior product owner This position requires a strong listener and an active mind to stay focused on the project’s big picture while delivering business value for the client quickly without deviating too far from an established roadmap of the finished product. The incumbent will educate and manage the expectations of external stakeholders while representing their interests to designers and developers on the team.
