As a Technical Operations Analyst – Work From Home, you will be part of a globally distributed team responsible for supporting our trading systems and interacting with all functional areas within the firm. • *Job Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Technical Operations Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of Linux, experience building process management and monitoring toolkits, and a passion for improving the operational stability and functionality of existing and new trading systems. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and collaboration skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role. • *Key Responsibilities** As a Technical Operations Analyst – Work From Home, your key responsibilities will include: • Building and maintaining process management and monitoring toolkits leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) • Collaborating with development teams to improve the operational stability and functionality of existing and new trading systems • Configuring and managing low-latency, high-availability trading systems • Coordinating, planning, and executing firm-wide changes within a global change management framework • Troubleshooting complex network and systems issues, ranging from low-level hardware to in-house software applications • Developing and maintaining documentation for technical operations procedures and processes • Providing technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders • Participating in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability • *Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or a similar technical field • Strong understanding of Linux and experience building process management and monitoring toolkits • Experience working with development teams to improve the operational stability and functionality of existing and new trading systems • Experience configuring and managing low-latency, high-availability trading systems • Experience coordinating, planning, and executing firm-wide changes within a global change management framework • Ability to triage, prioritize, and troubleshoot complex network and systems issues • Strong communication and collaboration skills • *Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous: • Experience with Python and other scripting languages • Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, HTTP, TCP, UDP, etc. • Experience with cloud-based technologies and infrastructure • Certification in ITIL or other IT service management frameworks • Experience with agile development methodologies • *Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects • Strong technical skills, including Linux, scripting languages, and networking concepts • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems • *Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At workwarp, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
