As a leader in the retail industry, we're dedicated to creating a workplace where our associates can grow, learn, and thrive. • *Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Manager at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: • Ensuring safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness of the area, evacuations, down registers, emergency codes, and theft prevention. • Handling customer and associate concerns, providing guidance, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. • Monitoring front-end associates, ensuring proper coverage, coordinating breaks, and providing assistance to outlying registers. • Providing training to associates on systems and blithequark procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs, discounts, EAS system, and safety protocols. • Overseeing purchase, return, and exchange transactions, assisting with error corrections, and verifying processes to meet blithequark guidelines. • Ensuring all EAS systems are functioning to standard, including cashiers deactivating, greeters handling issues appropriately, and completing "Failure to Deactivate" Logs. • Preparing registers for opening and closing daily, supporting cashiers with change, maintaining front-end cash levels, and completing audits on register accuracy. • Overseeing and promoting all company sponsor programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs. • *Essential Qualifications** • Age: 16 or older • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., business, customer service, or retail management) is an asset. • Proven experience in customer service, retail management, or a related field, with a focus on leading high-performing teams and driving customer satisfaction. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. • Strong knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention. • *Preferred Qualifications** • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., business, customer service, or retail management). • Experience with EAS systems, cash handling, and inventory management. • Knowledge of blithequark programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs. • Certification in customer service, retail management, or a related field. • *Skills and Competencies** • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. • Strong knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention. • Ability to adapt to changing situations, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment. • *Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our associates grow and develop their careers.
