The Opportunity Lead and execute critical responsibilities for new contract start-ups, often under tight timelines and with minimal notice, including on-site travel as required. Serve as the primary liaison between client stakeholders and Vituity, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution throughout the implementation process. Oversee and facilitate key start-up meetings in collaboration with administrative coordinators, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders to meet implementation milestones. Oversee document and communications management during the start-up phase, including calendar invitations, templated communications, and onboarding materials for clinicians and executives. Develop, maintain, and refine start-up documentation in partnership with the Contract Implementation Team (CIT), ensuring accuracy and standardization. Customize site-specific materials such as team flyers, orientation packets, and QR-coded resources to support onboarding and site readiness. Act as a central connector between Divisional Vice Presidents (DVPs), Regional Directors (RDs), CIT, and other stakeholders to facilitate knowledge sharing and decision-making during start-up. Support the collection and organization of site contact information and rosters, maintaining up-to-date records in centralized Teams folders. Oversee new partner onboarding, including benefits and informational meetings, in collaboration with RD and VP teams. Ensure timely and accurate distribution of calendar invites to all relevant parties for key onboarding events and meetings. Provide high-level support to VP and RD teams during strategic meetings with hospital and site executive leadership. Oversee IT readiness and technical support in advance of go-live to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Act as a liaison between site data collectors and internal Vituity teams, supporting data integrity and consistency. Initiate and oversee daily data collection templates with practice administrators, ensuring reliable inputs from EMR systems or manual sources. Leverage internal Vituity tools and resources to implement new products, workflows, and services that enhance site performance. Conduct operational assessments of new sites in collaboration with cross-functional teams and co-develop summary reports and recommendations with site leadership. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with new clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership success. Apply deep knowledge of standard implementation practices essential during the first year of site start-up, ensuring successful adoption and execution as needed. Champion foundational pillars of site success, including operational performance, contract stability, patient satisfaction, financial viability, and throughput optimization. Serve as a strategic operational partner to Regional and Medical Director leadership, offering expertise that complements clinical and administrative decision-making. Collaborate cross-functionally with all Vituity departments to align internal capabilities with client needs, maximizing resource utilization and service impact. Provide regular, structured progress updates to Regional Directors and Medical Directors throughout the start-up phase, typically covering the first six months of the contract. Facilitate continuous improvement and operational stabilization across the assigned practice line(s), ensuring long-term sustainability and performance. Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in practice line scope, goals, and performance metrics, while maintaining in-depth awareness of local site conditions and dynamics. Support the rollout of policies, workflows, and organizational initiatives specific to the start-up phase, ensuring site alignment with Vituity’s standards and objectives. Develop, execute, and monitor targeted initiatives that address site-specific needs while advancing broader Vituity strategic goals during initial implementation. Exercise sound independent judgment in managing complex assignments that require specialized knowledge, adaptability, and operational insight. Partner with Operations Analysts and Practice Administrators to ensure timely setup of site-level scorecards and consistent monthly data collection. Identify early-stage readiness for advanced initiatives (e.g., RME, ACT), and support deployment at sites demonstrating capacity within the first 90 days. Apply operational understanding of the following to ensure long-term operational success for startups. Revenue cycle management Physician educational programs Ambassador programs Performance Data analysis to assess performance and identify area for improvement Coordination of reports to Executive teams Dashboards, data, and score cards for all practice lines Provides strategic project management and operational support for high-priority organizational and departmental initiatives on an ad hoc basis, ensuring timely execution and alignment with enterprise objectives. Performs related duties as required. Required Experience and Competencies Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field required. Experience in healthcare operations or project management required. Strong organizational and project management skills required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Vituity AI tools required. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment required. Master’s Degree in healthcare or related field preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Data analysis and interpretation skills, including financial statements and statistical reports. Demonstrated ability to establish credibility quickly with Vituity and hospital clients. Ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and written. Polished public speaking skills with an ability to present to all types of audiences. Decision Making Authority: Moderate: works in conjunction with Regional and Medical Directors and helps to represent Vituity at client sites. High: individual responsibility for prioritizing demands setting and meeting client expectations and meeting deadlines. Problem Solving: Moderate: Complex analytical and problem-solving skills required to synthesize multiple sources of information, objectively evaluate complex operations; integrate political nuances about the site and effectively communicate at many levels. Uses diverse organizational toolsets to analyze root causes at sites and pull in needed resources to resolve problems. Must become knowledgeable about Vituity resources and organizational structure and culture. Project management and facilitation skills Has strong understanding of operations along the acute care continuum (Ambulatory Care, Emergency Services, Inpatient Medicine and post-acute care) Ability to travel to practice locations based on business need, sometimes on short notice. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance.
