Overview We’re seeking an experienced Class A Truck Driver Home Daily, Trucks leave from our Faclity in New Paltz, NY. We deliver to NY, NJ, CT, PA, MA, VT, NYC (no Manhattan deliveries) and Long Island Join our team of outside-of-the-box thinkers! Home Daily Competitive Hourly Rate for a Class A $28 to $32 depending on expereince 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime based on production volume Medical Dental Vision Company sponsored HSA Production bonuses Attendance awards 401k with match Training Programs with the Council of Industry Growth from within the company Qualifications 2 to 5 years Class A truck driving experience Class A interstate with air brakes endorsement Must meet Federal and State commercial motor vehicles requirements Clean driving record Good customer service skills Must have the ability to adhere to policies and standards Must be able to lift 50 lbs Responsibilities Safely Operate a Class A Truck to deliver finished goods our customers Build positive relationships with our customers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Comply with truck driving rules and regulations an company policies and procedures Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Verify delivery instructions Company Profile Viking Industries has specialized in the manufacturing of corrugated packaging and providing logistical solutions to its clients, for the past 50 years.
