Manage, develop, configure, and support Acquia/Drupal CMS including front-end and back-end development, ADA compliance, training, and documentation.
At least 3 years experience with PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and Acquia/Drupal CMS configuration and management, plus related skills and Acquia certification preferred.
Remote Position - 40 hrs / week Duration: 1 year (Jan 2026 - Dec 2026) Extension Option: May extend for 1 additional year (through 2027) Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM ET Occasional extra hours as needed. The consultant will manage, develop, maintain, configure, and support OSC's Acquia/Drupal CMS which is already in production. Acquia/Drupal Software Administrator under staff augmentation to manage, configure, develop, and support its production Acquia/Drupal CMS environment. This consultant will perform both front-end and back-end development, ensure compliance with ADA standards, maintain system reliability, and support OSC staff with training and documentation. Mandatory Experience Requirements Candidate must have: 3 years - PHP coding & testing 3 years - HTML coding & testing 3 years - JavaScript coding & testing 3 years - Configuring & managing Acquia / Drupal CMS 3 years - Gathering, documenting, and managing functional/technical requirements 2 years - Responsive design coding Preferred Qualifications Acquia Certified Developer - Drupal 9 or above (certificate required) Experience with HTML5, Bootstrap, Twig Knowledge of ADA/WCAG accessibility coding Experience with SQL Experience working in public sector/large enterprise CMS environments Major Responsibilities Configure and maintain Acquia/Drupal solution architecture Perform UI/UX front-end development and backend module development Build custom Drupal modules and themes Ensure ADA-compliant, responsive UI implementation Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards Provide production support, issue resolution, and CMS troubleshooting Document technical designs, workflows, and system architecture Train OSC staff on PHP, Drupal CMS, site-building, and best practices Provide post-implementation CMS support Develop functional & technical requirement documents SKILL MATRIX TEMPLATE - Full Name: Highest Education (Degree / Major / Year): Total Years of Drupal/Acquia Experience: Acquia Certified Developer - Drupal 9+ (Yes/No - Certificate Attached?): Total experience PHP coding/testing?
