Help Build the Next Outdoor Gear Brand People Love Part-Time Consumer Marketing Leader — Equity & Revenue Share Opportunity VentaPak is on a mission to make backpacks (and adventures) way more comfortable. We’re an innovative outdoor products company that doubled revenue in 2024 across North America, Asia, and Europe that is just getting started. We’re looking for a part-time, experienced consumer marketer to join us as a true partner — someone who’s as passionate about smart products and storytelling as they are about building something meaningful (and having ownership in it). This is a rare opportunity to shape a growing brand while sharing in its success through equity and revenue sharing. WHAT WE ARE BUILDING Our first product launched a few years ago is a game-changing backpack accessory that attaches to a backpack for superior ventilation and comfort (think: cooler, less sweaty backs, happier hikers, more comfortable commuters). With a pipeline of more gear innovations, the future is promising. We’ve been featured on ABC’s Good Morning America, CBS Mornings, Outdoor Retailer, NY Times Wirecutter (Staff Pick), Wired, and more. WHAT YOU’LL DO This role is perfect for someone who loves to blend strategy with hands-on execution. You’ll help shape our marketing vision while rolling up your sleeves to make it happen. Lead all aspects of consumer marketing — especially influencer partnerships, content creation, affiliate marketing, and social media strategy Select and manage marketing partnerships with agencies, brand partners, etc. Explore and test paid media across digital channels Explore new distribution platforms and creative marketing opportunities Help craft brand voice, storytelling, and community engagement Own marketing performance, growth experiments, and ROI tracking WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Proven experience marketing consumer products (bonus for outdoor or lifestyle brands) Strong digital marketing skills with a creative edge A love of both strategy and execution — you can think big and act small Entrepreneurial spirit and excitement about ownership and equity Someone who aligns with our mission, loves adventure, and wants to build something real
